OK, this one is a little different from other's of this series. However, recently I have been thinking about my bucket list and the things that I would like to do in my lifetime. Which got me thinking. A lot of people in my life don't really have a bucket list. Many of them state that they don't need one. If they want to do something, they just go do it. So here's the question: Are bucket lists still relevant today?
It seems that with the ease of finding entertainment, the ability to travel farther with less effort, and changes in social structure, people just do what they want. I, on the other hand, still have a bucket list. To me, there are things that I want to do in my life that I have put off for various reasons. Family first. Having children, Lack of money. Adult responsibilities. Life just has gotten in the way. For example, I want to visit other countries. See the world. I want to stand at the 4 corners. I want to visit every state in the USA. I want to go scuba diving. I want to take a cruise. I just always figured that these would be things to do when my children were older. When we were more financially stable. When we didn't have to worry so much about vacation time and work schedules. For me, the bucket list is still very relevant. So am I totally just different? Or do people just not spend much time thinking about bucket lists and dreams? What do you guys think?
