Family Time- Help us settle a debate!

We have a debate going on and we need a little help! Can you weigh in to help us make a decision?

The question, Disney or No Disney? Now hear me out. I believe that my children should experience Disney at least once in their childhoods. I have memories of going as a kid and it is just magical. The large parks feel like they are as big as the world. Everything Disney comes to life. It was a once in a lifetime thing that I will never forget! Yes, it's expensive. However, I believe that if we save and plan, we can do it.

My husband, on the other hand, has never been. The way he see's it, any amusement park will do. All of them are large and can hold that magical feel. He has even pointed out that there are themed parks that the kids would enjoy. The difference is that Disney is VERY expensive. We don't need to mortgage our house just to go to Disney. My husband believes that Disney is not a staple for our children like it was when we were growing up and movies were coming out. Our children just don't show as much interest as we did when we were their age.

What do you guys think? Is Disney worth the high cost for a once in a lifetime experience? Or should we look into other options that may be more cost efficient? We obviously can't ask the kiddos! That would just be causing trouble! Let us know in the comments what you guys think!
