Let's change gears a little bit and do a dessert recipe....My family begs me to make these! You guys will love them! The best part, they really don't take that much effort! Make sure to let me know what you think!
Ingredients:
- 1 box of milk chocolate brownie mix (any brand. I use the $0,98 boxes)
- 1 box of fudge or dark chocolate brownie mix (any brand)
** Please note: you will also need water, oil, and/or eggs depending on the instructions of the brownie mix boxes.**
- 1 container of smooth peanut butter (any brand. I use Reese's brand)
- 1 bag of chocolate chips
- 1 bottle of chocolate syrup
- 1 bag of bite size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (this needs to be a larger bag)
- Pam cooking spray
- 13 x 9 glass baking dish
How to Make:
1. In a large bowel, mix up milk chocolate brownie mix according to the instructions on the box. In another bowel, mix up the fudge/dark chocolate brownie mix according to the instructions on the box.
2. Use Pam spray to lightly grease you baking dish. Pour in your milk chocolate mix to create a smooth, even, layer in the bottom of the dish.
2. Unwrap your bite size Reese's cups. Lightly press the cups into the brownie mix evenly across the pan.
3. Sprinkle a layer of chocolate chips over the top.
4. On top of that, pour in your fudge/dark chocolate brownie mix in an even layer.
5. Add another layer of Reese's cups and chocolate chips.
6. Bake according to the instructions on the box. Test to make sure they are done by sticking a toothpick in the middle of the brownies (make sure to go all the way to the bottom). If the toothpick comes out clean, they are done.
7. While your brownies are baking, we need to make the peanut butter topping. Empty your entire container of peanut butter into a glass measuring cup. Microwave on high for about 2 minutes or until completely melted.
8. Once your brownies come out of the over, pour the peanut butter evenly across the top of the brownies. Use a butter knife to lightly smudge a design into the top of your peanut butter (optional).
9. Next, sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips across the top evenly (optional).
10. The chocolate syrup goes next. Make a light drizzle or a chocolate layer to taste!
11. Last, cut up your remaining Reese's cups into small pieces. Sprinkle them over the top.
12. Serve and enjoy!
